David Fifita off with Lower ankle injury, concern by video for medial/high ankle sprain (syndesmosis injury), fingers crossed no fibula fracture. Hip drop tackle also brings risk for MCL injury, hopefully avoided here.
If confirmed worst case: surgery & 6-8wks.
Origin 1: 6.5wks away
couldn't care less about Origin, so long as he's fit and ready for the pre-season.
Think they just said low grade ankle sprain.
Good news for David Fifita with initial assessment from the Drongoes suggesting a low grade sprain (likely medial/high ankle). Tougher to play through than lateral ankle sprain, often requires at least 2 weeks return to play

So no major injury and he’s played his last game for the Drongoes which means NQ’s chances of beating them next week has improved (insert evil laugh)
Drongoe Bill???? a_guest????
Fifita off to the surgeon on Monday.
NRL Physio
Scans confirmed a syndesmosis injury for David Fifita, but more severe than the Broncos initially expected. Will visit surgeon next week. Even if surgery required likely he would be able to return during the Origin series, as usual recovery is 6-8 weeks.
Origin 1: 6.5 weeks away

YT has turned down a contract extension with us, it doesn't say how much we were offering, but good chance he won't be here.

If we lose him do we go after a strike centre like Kotoni, I think our development players are a way off. Whatever we do will have an impact on cash for a hooker, but centre has always been an issue for us
Disappointing. I was starting to warm to him as a long term Titan. May this impact the Copley decision?
Young players are coming through but a bit of experience doesn't hurt. Obviously the offer wasn't generous enough or the club wants to nab a player with greater potential?
What an Ingrate
