I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that he shouldered nearly all the blame. He sucked before and still did. I'd be looking at breach of contract now. "I don't want to play footy because I'm not good at it whilst you pay me a million dollars"

Over caring about Ash and please no one refer to him as a kid! He's an adult that needs to put up or piss off.

Brimson to halfs Peachey to Fullback or as NZ said. What will happen is that Brimson will go to halfs, Samit to FB and Lee to wing. Worked SOOOO well last weekend.

Why not give Tanah Boyd a crack, can’t be any worse?

Geez that is just unbelievable, this doesn't bode well for the future. I cant understand the process and the titans thinking on this he is signed as a marquee player I am just dumbfounded.

Not in the 21 and I personally wouldn't be throwing fresh meat into this rotten pile.

Neither would I, not until we get at least one win. We already have a bunch of players that are used to losing we don't need to install that habit into any more of our squad.

JB, I was talking about how Taylor's performance has been analysed by all the major sporting shows since the weekend. Yeah he wasn't great but there was far worse players out there that day such as Don, Sami and Peats. It wasn't his fault that we got pumped and it definitely wasn't the week before when he didn't play. None of the other players have faced that level of public scrutiny. Subjecting him to that every week is only going to scar him further. Give him time off now and he will either come back next year ready to fire, or he will simply throw in the towel. Win win as far as I'm concerned.

Point understood. Still don't want him back. Cronk comes out during the week and gives good honest advice of "When you didn't make touch last weekend the next set you need to make 4 tackles to rally the team" Does he take advice or does he run behind mums apron? Done with him. Find grounds to cancel his contract.

Imagine the flogging he's going to get in the press now that he's ditching for the season. If his hope was to fly under the radar I would guess journos are tapping away at their keyboards as we speak and dragging the club down with him.

I wonder if Taylor is the main instigator in all the drama. We know he was having troubles with Henry. I also remember reading something about him and Peachy having trouble with Brennan. Maybe half the reason he left on his mission to find himself again was because he could not get along with Brennan and knew if he stayed away for a time that Brennan would be sacked. A couple weeks after Brennan is gone and he is back in the team. I don't think his team mates would be happy with him being the highest paid player in the team and his attitude and commitment are desperately lacking. I say do all we can to get rid of Taylor in the off season.

Funny, I was only thinking last weekend that he may actually be better suited to 5/8 than 7 so I was interested to see how he went. Anyway I'm off to earn my $25 hr.

Tanah Boyd trained with the injured squad and had his knee iced immediately after training. By the look of the attacking debt up at training on Wednesday, Peachey was the right side pivot in all the plays.

It’s quite obvious Bods that you have little knowledge of or concern for mental health issues. Mental health issues are just as debilitating as physical injuries and if the guys head is not in the right space he needs help and support, not ridicule. As a fan I am pissed that our marquee player is not available but I feel for Ash. He needs encouragement, not derision. And I am particularly pissed with the NSW and CM journo’s who preach the “are you OK?” Message but do not live it. When Latrell Mitchell went walkabout for a couple of weeks after the SOO loss, hardly a negative word was uttered....sick of the double standards.
The club knew the heat that was going to come with this decision but made it nonetheless with Ash’s health at front of mind. And surely this signals that the issues are significant. Let’s give him a go and let him work out whether he is going to earn his money or write his resignation.

Having some fun again playing footy and a couple of wins with his mates and the love of the Titans Fans after those wins will do him a world of good. That’s how to get his swag back.
I’ll just pass on your personal statements about me. But thanks for the feedback.

You are not his treating specialist so how can you say that playing at this stage will help him? FFS, why don’t we leave it to the experts to help guide him out of his hole in a timely manner, not to what we believe is an appropriate timeframe or manner or pathway to recovery. Not trying to make it personal Bods but we simply need to let those who know help Ash through this. Having a broken mind is no different to having a broken leg...it stops you dead in your tracks.

In fairness Firetruck, we don't even know if the people that are "helping" are experts. Club needs to start dealing with Ashs manager and his manager can earn his money and do what needs to be done for Ash and explain to the club why they don't have their marquee player. Time to be the meat in the sandwich and earn your keep.

There's nothing to say Ash will play a game next year. Mental illness can be quite debilitating. If that's case we have another dilemma where we're down a mill with our cap for a season, and there's sfa that can be done about it.

Hell of a way to hobble a Club. Something has got to give.
