I think we should be chasing one of Bellamy's assistants, Adam O'Brien was under Bellamy now Robinson at the roosters he could be a good option of we go for another rookie coach

The Gold Coast Titans are parting ways with coach Garth Brennan effective immediately.

The Titans, who sit at the bottom of the ladder after 17 rounds, will begin their search for a new coach, however, the club’s assistant coaches are expected to take over in the meantime alongside Mal Meninga.

An announcement is expected in the next 24 hours. Meninga was due to present his findings from an internal review at a board meeting on Monday morning, however, it appears Brennan and the Titans have agreed to part ways.

There was also this too in that article:

The Titans are yet to make an official announcement.

Queensland coach Kevin Walters and St Helens coach Justin Holbrook are the early frontrunners for the job vacated by Brennan’s departure.

We should be chasing Bellamy. Stuff his contract and coaches don’t come under the cap. Pay what he wants and get him here. This coaching change seems our last chance for the club to stay where it is.

Yea for sure, especially the way the storm are going this year could be the year for Bellamy to leave with a premiership, he's always said we're the only other team he'd leave to coach so I'd be really frustrated of we didn't atleast contact Bellamy and try and get him here, if not, his assistants are the next best thing

If Bellamy asked to leave how could the Storm say no given what he’s done for them
There’s no way they’d play hardball

The Gold Coast Titans have announced that they have parted ways with Head Coach Garth Brennan.
Source Titans club statement to members

“No one at this organisation, or anyone involved in rugby league, wanted Garth’s time as Head Coach of the Titans to end this way,” Titans Executive Chairman Dennis Watt said.

“However, the results the club has achieved on the field this season have not met expectations, and the team’s performance in recent weeks has fallen to a level that is unacceptable to the Board, our Members, fans, sponsors and partners.

“Unfortunately, that has left the club in a situation where Garth remaining in the position of Head Coach has become untenable.”

Watt paid tribute to Brennan for his service and commitment to the Titans, where he has served as Head Coach since the end of 2017.

“While the on-field results have not been what we hoped for, Garth will still leave a tremendous legacy for this club with his contribution to the creation of our development systems and pathways,” Watt said.

“These will ensure the Titans’ future will be built around the best young players growing up on the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales.

“Along the way, Garth has handed NRL debuts to players like AJ Brimson, Moeaki Fotuaika and Jai Whitbread – players who will be at the core of this club for the years ahead.

“Garth, his wife Rachael and their family have made real sacrifices in moving to the Coast, and Garth has dedicated himself to connecting with Titans Members, fans, local leagues and the wider community.

“Garth has been tireless in promoting the club and the game. He is a decent and genuine rugby league man, and everyone at this club wishes him and his family nothing but the best for the future.”

Watt said Assistant Coaches Craig Hodges and Luke Burt would take over as interim coaches of the Titans for the rest of the 2019 NRL season, with a replacement Head Coach to be decided upon at a later date.

The club will be making no further comment at this time

A decision long overdue but is not the fix to our problems. The effort this team puts forward on the field is abysmal and Friday nights game was putrid. Whoever takes the reigns next will be crucial but they way this club operates from its culture to the players we sign needs to be re-built from scratch. I wish Garth all the best in the future but step one of our rebuild or perish begins now

Someone should put up a poll for all the possible candidates to replace Brennan.

If Bellamy is put in the poll as an option then it would be a waste of time

Not surprised. Sorry but I think they knew exactly what they were doing on Friday with those kicks and stuff. Don't know how purposely playing like that sits with everyone else but I'm not impressed.

12 wins from 40 games is terrible. He had to go there was no other choice.

“While the on-field results have not been what we hoped for, Garth will still leave a tremendous legacy for this club......." sure does, we're ****ed till 2022.

While we're at it maybe it's time to say good bye to the forever absent CEO Steve Mitchell. Can't even send out a press release saying the coach has been sacked. Don't stop there, who else doesn't value add to this organisation. If we aren't putting a broom through the whole place front and back then we are doomed. Sorry to the new guy who posted on the previous page, looks like his first post has already hit a snag.
