    Good on you mate.
    Hope it’s a great day.
My worry is they played so well last week that it’s impossible to replicate. They will have to start again and diligently go about slowly breaking down Wynnum and be able to handle any adversity if it comes their way.

Fingers Crossed they bring it mentally.

Should be a good one this game. Looking forward to it moreso than next weeks main game match.

A bit disappointed it's being held at Redcliffe instead of Lang Park this year. One can only guess Qld Stadiums priced the QRL/QCup outta the place?

I feel the opposite. The last couple of years there has been hardly anyone at Suncorp, and it looks horrible empty and has no atmosphere.
Redcliffe is almost sold out, the prices were very reasonable, the ground and amenities are great. The atmosphere will be awesome!
I think it’s a brilliant decision by the QRL, and I think is another good reason for a boutique size stadium on the Coast.

^^^ boutique size stadium would be great as it could be used by Burleigh, Tweed, Titans NRLW, and a future A-League team.

100%. I know Tate has his preferences, but if it was me I’d be redeveloping the Broadbeach Bowls, Soccer Club Surf Club area. It has great access to transport, close to restaurants and entertainment. You could build a really cool precinct there as well!

Bears up 16-10 with 19 minutes to go. Breeze at Wynnum’s back in the second half.

Well done Burleigh!!! Enjoy celebrating with an extra strong cup of tea tonight because you now have a chance next Sunday to redeem your last appearance in the State Championship. Kurtis Rowe was immense and well done super coach Lenihan.

Now you mention it, they're all good points that you raised, ja4220. I guess I was looking at it as a hallowed turf thing, but it's not exactly Lang Park anymore either.

As for the boutique stadium idea. I've been mentioning for some time now that I do believe if they reclaimed some more land from the Broadwater at the northern end of the Broadwater parklands for stadium might be a good idea. Close to public transport and entertainment precincts, and it'd be a feather in GC's cap once the casino goes ahead on Wavebreak Island.

    Well done, Burleigh Bears.

The boutique stadium idea say 15k capacity at either Southport or Broadbeach is a stunning idea. I’m under the impression too that the cost of replicating the Dolphin Stadium is a lot cheaper than people may think.

And as I said earlier it could be used by Burleigh, Tweed (especially if it was at Broadbeach), our future NRLW team and an A-League team in time plus be used for things like concerts, motocross, circus, Titans trial games etc.

So from memory the crowd yesterday was just under 8000. But it was pretty full, had a good atmosphere and was a good day.
Drinks and food were reasonably priced and it seem to run smoothly.

Fell apart in the last 20mins. Very Titanesque unfortunately. Feel terrible for them all. The kick off going out on the full and then that bounce.
