Just did some reading on the Type of injury AJ has.
If he gets surgery then it’s serious business.
I’m a bit frustrated with the club.
We need to know how he is.

What degree of information do you think you are entitled to? His medical records? The club has literally released a statement. I’m sure that if it is worse than anticipated you’ll hear about it.

The main thing would be to be reassured that the scans show that he doesn’t need surgery. I’ll ignore the digs you are having at me.

Fair enough. I'd guess we'll hear from the our own physio team or the club in more detail once origin concludes and pre-season begins

We saw how much better we were this year when AJ was up and about. I don’t want to go into next season with him either underdone or not available.
To me he has become our most important player.

    100% he is

Him being on the field is the most important piece of our 2021 season

if you fast forward to around the 30 second mark he actually takes us through a journey of his medical records

It’s very encouraging but I won’t feel good until surgery is ruled out.

AJ Brimson will have follow up scans + specialist review this week to decide if he requires surgery on his Lisfranc injury. Said to have a ligament sprain + minor fracture, scan to check healing/help assess stability. Good news surgery not considered a certainty, hopefully avoids.
If surgery required one of the more unpredictable recoveries, have seen returns in the NRL range from 10-20+ wks. Approx 17 wks til Rd 1 2021.
Thankfully for Brimson appears there’s optimism regarding the injury severity, even if he undergoes surgery hope more for 10-14 wk range.
