What if Peachey is the one that goes off hurt? If either of our halves or fullback leave the field I'd rather replace them with a specialist utility rather than a backrower covering a position, that includes a backrower covering in the centres if Peach moves to 1, 6, 7 etc. Having Peachey on the field makes us a stronger team 100%, but I wouldn't be going with 4 forwards on the bench. A couple of injuries to key players and we'd be screwed. It'd most likely put us into a defence orientated lockdown with the opposition hiting us where we'd be weaker.

How good is it to have all this choice? LOL! I can't wait for the trials!!

No Peats.. you Crazyyyyy! Peats line speed in defence is enough to keep him in the 9 IMO.
Rein is a great back up and sparked us when he came on but what peats does off the ball with his fitness/kick chase keeps him on the park for me for 80 min.

That's a fair call. I think Peats is feeling the heat a bit this off season (as are a lot of our squad). Losing his Blues number 9 jersey might spur him on a bit too.

    Options, options, options.....

This is what I find exciting about this year. So many players training their clackers off trying to impress. The trials will be very telling. They'd be worth watching just to see the players intensity and determination. I just hope we get through the trials injury free so we have a full, fit and healthy squad to choose from for round 1.

The Indigenous circus has me worried too ... I have voted for everyone except our blokes ... as much as I would like them to play rep stuff, I don't want to see anyone go down in this promotional game. We could potentially lose; Taylor, Latu, Roberts, Lee, James and Peats (maybe more but my memory fails me).
