Chasing Capewell makes the decision to buy Stone a strange one. I'd be happy with Ma'u, we need some mongrel in our forward pack. At the moment all we have is Hipgrave and he's injured or suspended most of the time
Agree with Mdrew, no way to M'au. Injury prone and **** discipline.
Looks like M'au is on his way to the Super League so that rules him out.
Fingers are definitely crossed for Capewell, he was superb again on Sunday vs the Broncos and has been such a solid player all year. We could definitely use him on that left edge and he wouldn't break the bank. Get it done Titans.
After reading the article regarding Ma'u going to super league and covering his knee injuries and concussions this year I'm happy he didn't come here. I would presume that he would feather his nest and take it easy if he was to come here.

Just in case anyone needed a good start to their day, you won't find it here. Jesse Arthars is off to the Broncos from next season onwards....
Not the most talented and "can't lose" player but thought he has been solid for us and has been quite good defensively on that edge. Oh well another great recruitment decision, let's hope the Watkins gamble succeeds otherwise we are buggered. We really aren't a club who should be gambling though
Here's the article.

That really hurts. When a player that you try and do everything right for and even gets a chance to play NRL ahead of other NRL players still leaves the club it isn't boding well for us as a development club. I guess Mals monday email makes sense now. "We may not keep all of them. But the only way we will now lose a kid we want to keep is because of money."
Guys before anyone has a meltdown about how our club can’t keep young talent and are clueless, just understand that this was a personal decision for Jesse and it was inevitable. I heard months ago from his dad who is a local butcher that this would probably happen. Jesse was coached by Seibold at Melbourne, and then they both moved to Souths together. Jesse always wanted to play under Seibold and I’m guessing the only way he would stay is if we paid massive overs.
Yeah I understand that but I'm sure he would have contemplated staying if the coaching he received here was a lot better. He got no room on that edge he just got shovelled the ball when the halves had finished running sideways and had run out of ideas. Disappointed to see him go.
Signing Watkins doesn't help make the decision to leave a hard one either. Apparently he (Watkins) wasn't named this week due to injury. Thanks for the insight hangingon. I was talking to his juniors coach and he said it's a good move for him due to the same reasons you described above.
