We better not release him unless we trade for a classy centre or backrower or Maloney, he signed the deal, we can manage without him let's take a stand and show everyone were not pushovers and can't be used for money or a holiday

Am i right in thinking that from November 1 he is a contracted Titans player? They are still reporting that the Panthers cannot afford to keep him next year, despite the exit of Harawira- Naera. So this opens up alot of Sydney clubs who may be keen to negotiate with us in the hopes of getting him. This opens up the the player market to us significantly. Surely there would be a few Qld players based in Sydney who would be keen on coming home.
Im a fan of Brian Kelly, any chance we could get him back in all this mess?

UPDATE: We are playing hardball and are refusing to release Peachey. We have said that he can sit on the sidelines for three years.

Good that we are showing a backbone but can’t see it finishing like this. I see a bit of player movement with whichever Sydney club gets Peachey.

    I would like to see:-
    1. The club advise Peachey, via Slimey Sam, that Peachey is expected to honour the terms of his contract and that involves turning up on the nominated date in November to commence training with the club .
    2. The. NRL advise Peachey and his manager that they have entered into a binding contract and the NRL expects that the terms of the contract will be honoured.
    3. The RLPA, which is now a 29% partner in the game, putting pressure on Peachey and his manager to honour the terms of the contract.
    4. If Peachey does not honour therms of his contract, I would like to see the Club prosecute him for breach of contract with a view to securing a damages judgement against Peachey.
Enough is enough! It is a bad look for Peachey, for our club and for the game.

Tear up so other contracts while we're at it.

Tell him he has a legally binding contract and if he has to sit on the sidelines for three years, so be it. Sydney clubs will be wanting him so they can deal with the Titans and provide a suitable player. If we get one, then send him on his way. If not, play hardball.

I wonder if Brennan has been made by Kelly and Frizelle to write on a black board ( Bart Simpson Style ) “ I will not sign anymore Penrith Players” ....1000 times.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old said he wanted to move full-time to five-eighth if he did head to the Titans next year under former Penrith assistant coach Garth Brennan.

“I’m happy in the centres at the moment but if I was to go to the Goldy I would really like to pursue that No.6 jersey,” he said.

“(Halfback) Ash Taylor is a good kicker, he runs the game well. I could just play as a runner.”

Is this just a ploy for the number 6 position and cash??

Just cancel it already. Slap him with some sort of punishment. I don't want a guy here clogging up our cap who isn't committed to the club 100%. It is just not worth it.
