    Rj62 where were you sitting?

Thanks for the summary. Lots of positives there.
First and foremost I am so glad that the business model they had planned has been implemented and, at least in Daryls eyes, is working. Not enough emphasis can be put on this. Nothing else matters if the business model fails.
Great news on the investment in local talent. It reinforces a comment I had made in the junior development thread about tem being able to sign a full u16 and u18 squad next year to contracts.
The stadium deal. Again congratulations. It showed that the club and the new management are prepar d to dig in there heels and fight and not be bullied. Hopefully this tactic carries across to player managers who for so long have used us as bargaining chips.
I also think the boutique stadium is a cracker idea and think Pizzey Park would be great (although there might not be enough land around it. Close to the beach. Light rail link coming past soon plus easy bus connections from Robina train station. Close enough to Nobbys and Burleigh for dining and bars and most importantly the Burleigh Bears Courtesy bus will pick me up

Surprised a punter in the audience didn’t bring him up
Garth and Annesley got off lightly on that one

No player did really apart from all positive stuff. To be honest , it wasn’t the right place. The mood wasn’t inflammatory or hostile one bit, in fact the opposite. No one was there to stick it up anyone, there was no need.

Just goes to show that it was good for members to get the agro (rightfully) out of the system last year.

Having the opportunity to listen and be heard is good management. Should be a calendar event each quarter.

Especially since the long term goal is to turn the club over to the members. Transparency and clarity on the clubs direction and actions are essential.

Good on the club for hearing us out and taking the heat. Confident that we just want what is best for the club.

Without having a sook about it like former regimes.

    Hey Guys
Was there a TEAM SONG update at the Forum???

    Yeah Bods.

Tennessee Titans in America use this as their song and this is one that is being banded around with a few words changed of course. They played it at the forum and said hopefully they will have something sorted by the end of the year, whatever they choose. I think it will go out to a vote.

Thanks Nols, I played it and I liked it. Get the words and the re-recording right and that is a winner. Did I hear some F Bombs in the background?? Surely not.
