    Samoa vs Tonga

Saturday, June 23, 7:10pm, Campbelltown Stadium

Samoa: (Squad)Bunty Afoa, Josh Aloiai, Michael Chee Kam, Christian Crichton, James Gavet, Pita Godinet, Sam Kasiano, Tim Lafai, Joey Leilua, Luciano Leilua, Mason Lino, Dunamis Lui, Tyrone May , Anthony Milford, Isaiah Papali’i, Jospeh Paulo, Ligi Sao, Jorge Taufua

Late Mail: Anthony Milford headlines the Samoan squad who have lost Leeson Ah Mau and Ken Maumalo to the Kiwis. Joey Leilua, Tim Lafai and Sam Kasiano are all back while Warriors halfback Mason Lino and Isaiah Papali’i have scored deserved call ups from Matt Parish.

Tonga: (Squad) Andrew Fifita, Addin Fonua-Blake, Siliva Havili, Ata Hingano, Will Hopoate, Konrad Hurrell, Michael Jennings, Robert Jennings, Sione Katoa, Tuimoala Lolohea, Manu Ma’u, Joe Ofahengaue, Junior Tatola, Jason Taumalolo, Sio Siua Taukeiaho, Peni Terepo, Daniel Tupou.

Late Mail: David Fusitu’a, Tevita Pangai Junior and Solomone Kata have all been ruled out due to injury. Rob Jennings and Junior Tatola are the only rookies in the squad, which is bolstered by the inclusion of Joe Ofahengaue, who is expected to miss selection for Queensland. Kristian Woolf will add two more players to the squad during the week.

    Papua New Guinea vs Fiji

Saturday, June 23, 4:00pm, Campbelltown Stadium

Papua New Guinea: 1. Nene McDonald, 2. Junior Rau, 3. Thompson Teteh, 4. Justin Olam

    5. Richard Pandia, 6. Lachlan Lam, 7. Watson Boas, 8. Enock Maki, 9. James Segeyaro, 10. Luke Page, 11. Rhyse Martin, 12. Rod Griffin, 13. Rhadley Brawa, 14. Kurt Baptiste, 15. Willie Minoga, 16. Adex Wera, 17. Stanton Albert, 18. Nixon Putt

Late Mail: Coach Michael Marum may yet make changes, but the Kumuls have named a strong 18 man squad. Despite missing talismanic five-eighth Ase Boas, who is recovering from dengue fever and fullback Stargroth Amean, who has retired, PNG still boast six players with NRL experience. Winning away from Port Moresby has been tough in recent years but they downed Fiji in 2016 and the Cook Islands in 2017, and will fancy their chances of beating the Bati again. It will be an emotional affair, with the Kumuls playing their first match since the death of World Cup centre Kato Ottio.

Fiji: 1 Kevin Naiqama (c), 2 Suliasi Vunivalu, 3 Akuila Uate, 4 Tyrone Phillips, 5 Marcelo Montoya, 6 Jarryd Hayne, 7 Henry Raiwalui, 8 Kane Evans, 9 Joe Lovodua, 10 Tui Kamikamica, 11 King Vuniyayawa, 12 Junior Salesi Fainga, 13 Jayson Bukuya. Interchange: 14 Eloni Vunakece, 15 Pio Seci, 16 Sitiveni Moceidreke, 17 Pio Sokobalavu, 18 Mikaele Ravalawa, 19 Junior Roqica

Late Mail: Injuries to Korbin Sims, Viliame Kikau and Apisai Koroisau, plus Tariq Sims inclusion in the Blues squad has robbed Fiji of some of their blue chippers but old hands Jarryd Hayne and Akuila Uate are back, as is inspirational skipper Kevin Naiqama.

Samoa looked dead and buried but they are coming home with a wet sail!

Really enjoyable game to watch. Great atmosphere.
I have the Rugby Test on another screen and that is just terrible, being screwed up by the ref and the usual stoppages. Four pen goals to three. The League, yet again, is showing it up.

Crazy atmosphere (Tonga vs. Samoa), not a bad game to boot either. Something the crowd on the night should be proud of.
