A good gutsy effort tonight that was worthy of the win. Enjoyed the don't argue from B. Lee that see him send it out to the Don to go over for the try. I can't recall the last time we had a Centre that had that in him.
All I wish for now is the Lads to stay out of the Clubs tonight, that would see someone mess up and give Badel some **** to publish in Mondays paper. Stay reasonably sober, Lads.

Been to the two previous offerings of gAyFL in Shanghai and they were both painfully embarrassing con jobs on how to pretend you’re a sport when you’re nothing more than a bunch of lanky lairs prancing around in Village People-esque outfits. The number of suits strutting around drowning in their own importance was dreadful. I spoke at a corporate lunch last year for the visitors et al and when I was asked ‘which team I supported’ I proudly said the Titans.

Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.
I bumped in to a couple of the boys at the Garden Bar at the Casino last night.
Let’s just say one was celebrating a little more than the other, but they seemed to behaving just fine,
Good to get a win. Hopefully we can continue to build and put a good showing in against the Roosters.
Titanic last year there was the Suns v Port Adelaide
When, where and who between was the other time it’s been played in China?

I’m all for players celebrating after a win and going straight home after a loss.
I know they want to manage the players for recovery etc BUT the motivation factor of being able to feel good and enjoy a win I think is surely much healthier in getting them up for each game.
@Bodsie ... 2010 Brisbane Lions played Melbourne Demons at the same ground ... mainly reserve graders and was rubbish.
Mates have posted pics of yesterday’s game and same old stuff, empty stands, no Chinese apart from vips and about 5,000 Port supporters flown in on packages.

i'm one of the LG followers who can see his prospects falling sadly, but the flame hasn't totally died. Brennan had some nice things to say about his form in q cup or that he is in form there.
Without wishing anyone any harm, i wonder if in about 6 weeks time, once AJ is even more established and LG is on hot form for Tweed an injury to Gordon for a month or so gives us the chance to move AJ to fb and bring Kane in?
I think Carty has done his dash at 6, and we don't really have any FB cover ( if someone says TRD or Sami i'll vomit ).
That could give us a peek, maybe the last peek, at really seeing if Kane can make it in our side, and a look at AJ at FB. Our BEST games this year Kane has been a big part of, and he offers a lot more than AJ in attack.
AJ brings straight hard running, and committed defence, compared to Kane's ball play and vision.
I think we looked best this year when Kane and Ash have moved the ball together, but i realise that Kane has a stink and he needs to work it off.
Garth will get his biggest tick of approval from me if he can show that he can not only improve players, but also coach players back into form ( Koni, Kane, Carty etc ) and not just rule a line through them and mark as too difficult
I think AJ at 1 and LG at 6 could be a real possibility and that window hasn't closed yet.
PUT EM TO THE SWORD! SHOW SOME STEEL!
