*hopefully costigan moves into lock, why have Mcguire there? I sstill dont' see why carlaw is there ahead of parker! But happy Ennis and Seymour are starting, and that Eastwood is on the bench.

Still I think if we do win, it won't be easy.

The Sharks have a big chance to start their season with a win here against a Brisbane team travelling and low on confidence. I will not nominate my "tip" as such just yet though as per Bruno Cullen, I think there will be "more pain before more gain" early in the piece for the Broncos which is not a common trait with early in the year.

Last weeks loss could be the kick up the bum that the Broncos and many clubs need every year. Last year Broncos were thrashed by the Storm and came back by winning 12 straight games....this could be the start of that trend. But I think this game will be close.

Think the Sharks will win at home but won't be much in it.You would expect a better performance from Broncos this week.

We look shot after round ONE? Honestly, we 've got a few combinations to work up again... our backline (our 2 new wingers), and the role between Ennis and the halves.

Seymour gone? I don't think so? When he came on Round One, we played alot better, I thought he looked like he wanted to be there too, and knew this is the year he has to step up.

As for the Captaincy, its true Darren showed no heart against Cowboys, at drink breaks and when the Cows scored a try, Darren juts put his head down, said nothing, all he did was argue with the ref, which is a lost cuase, it was Hunt and Webcke who were triyng to fire the boys up.

Webcke is the true leader of the Broncos - they will miss him more than they realise when he retires. One of the best props of the modern era.

Is it just me or do the Sharks look a little slow with Bailey back in the centres, he has been shown up there in the past and could be their main weakness in the backline. Dont know anything about Scott though?

Hodges always runs a riot! But yea I think the backline of the Broncos is superior to the sharks despite having 2 newies, and the back 3 all 18/19.

the Sharks recruited well with Ross,Thompson and Albert expect anything.Kimmorley will win it with a desprite Dykes to secure his 5/8th position.
