Forgettable Titans team

Happy New Year all,

Hate to start on a negative, and are feeling really optimistic about this year, but they are replaying Titans games on Foxtel today and seeing some of the players, below is a team of players that I would like to forget that they played for us :-

Maurice Blair
Beau Henry
Paul Carter
Jamal Idris
David Taylor
Michael Henderson
Daniel Mortimer
Nate Myles

Beau Champion
Matthew White
Eddy Pettybourne
Ian Donnelly

I know most will have Zillman in their team, but I could never question his effort or the fact he was a great clubman. The player I left out who may deserve honourable mention was Mark Minichiello. Always gave 100% effort but having watched every Titans game since day 1, Mini was the player that frustrated me the most. Guarantee every game he would have at least 1 handling error and was good for a random penalty at the worst time.

Any obvious selections I left out?

I’m not telling you to change the team but I just want to add Jordan Atkins and Jordan Rankin as players that would do my head in. I’m sure I’ll think of others later.

John Olive in our current squad has so far been a frustration too.

Bwahaha ... great start to the year ... I would add the Glassman, Beau 'Crystal' Champion, who would nudge the great splendorious traitorious Roberts out of the team. At least Roberts could play a bit.

Funny, I can remember most of the players on the list. There were a whole bunch of players that were so ordinary I can't even remember them. I can't recall anything about Ian Donnelly. All the others are notable for being overrated and under achieving or quite ordinary but getting picked anyway. I do have a soft spot for Mini though I waited eagerly for the pass that bounces off his chest every game.

Yeh, I know about Roberts, but given the circumstances of him leaving and the fact he went to the drongos (not to mention his woeful defence and the fact he looked gassed or injured after 10 minutes) I had to find a spot for him. Also not a fan of massive egos so him and Hayne are my most disliked ex-Titans.

Decent list there and most got a thought in my calculations but couldn't include Falloon as he was our player of the year one year. I also tried to include players who played quite a few games rather than a couple here or there. Thought Brad Davis went OK for a long-term Qcup player who was pretty much only injury cover.

Lachlan Burr is a good call. I remember having such high expectations for him. Really big frame with speed and mobility. Just never put it together.
