You’re right mate. On that note I think that TRD should replace Ash Taylor as our halfback. Unless you have some inside info on why TRD couldn’t transform into a decent halfback please let me know I’m interested. Cheers

TRD at halfback? how about we try Leilani Latu on the wing? I wouldn't know though because just like Ravs i've never watched a game of footy in my life so who knows

Yep the commentary loved him because the Roosters were top of the pops ... we had 3 or 4 better in the BRL.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.

Yeah I do mate. TRD is absolute Sh1T (notice it has a capital)
He isn't even a half descent winger so your "come to the rescue" sediment has zero merit nor adds any value.
Don't know what your gripe is but they tell me peanut butter is also good for indigestion

    I don't give a stuff about the "he doesn't fit in" Bullsh1t!
We sure need some quality depth in our backs. I wouldn't doubt this bloke could play a descent centre roll?
I think the wheels have well and truly fallen off the wheelbarrow you're pushing for Hastings in this forum. I remember another guy that didn't fit in...plays(sometimes) for Parra now.

Surely we've moved past the "no one else wants him lets pick him up cheap" methodology in our recruitment strategy.

Perhaps a look at who is available come years end may be a better topic. Quite a few Gold Coasters in the list.

Well JB lucky some of us don’t believe everything the media pushes down our necks

    1. I never said he was cheap but now you mention it I recon Manly would be paying some of his salary

    2. I think the kids got real talent hence a genuine signing opportunity exists IMO

    3. The reason I suggested a centre position for Hastings was to get him away form an authoritarian (calling the shots) type roll within a team which should elevate pressure form his persona and may just turn his carrier around. (Still haven’t heard a descent response on why he couldn’t play centre)

    4. I’ve done a lot of research on this matter (because of the Cherry wanker factor) and a great injustice has been stowed upon this kid. Sure he’s got some personality flaws (probably less than the Cheery wanker himself) but have no doubt Hastings is being used as a scapegoat for Manly’s management/culture inadequacies including, the salary cap.

    5. To compare this kid’s situation to that of the Train Wrecks' is so for from reality (delusional) I’m not expecting a response from you anytime soon because of the straitjacket your currently sitting in.

We could debate this all day RVS and I love your passion but I think it is important to take in to account that Hastings was not demoted due to the Cherry incidents. The quotes from Manly have been that this was the final straw from issues that they have had since February.
Obviously there are three sides to this - Hastings and Manly's and the truth. Somewhere in the middle will be the truth but personally I think he's a risk that we (the Titans) don't really need to take.

Ok Mt this is not a shot at you by any stretch but to me the Manly club has no credibility at present so I'm not buying any of their tripe.
In saying that I will drop off

Love the passion boys, however i think we can all agree that every player in out top 17 are amazing when they are on point. The problem seems to be individually they lack the consistency to play like that for more than 1 out of 3 games; and further fail to do it as a team.
