Thought there would’ve been some updated news by now re Peacheys reported visit to the club last Saturday. No-ones heard anything more since? Still hoping for a decent quality front rower to add some depth to our roster.

MOSES Suli won’t be the newest Dog in town for long with Gold Coast flyer John Olive set to join Canterbury just a few weeks out for the new season kicking off.
Foxsports.com.au can reveal, former Australian Schoolboys representative, Olive, has been granted a release from the Titans to sign a two-year-deal with the Bulldogs.
It’s yet another boost for the Bulldogs who this week added teenage flyer Suli to their squad after he was released by the Wests Tigers.
It was only late last year the Dogs released Brenko Lee to join the Titans.
Lee’s exit opened the door for Suli to come aboard but Olive’s deal is one the Bulldogs have had in the works for some time.
We clearing space for anyone in particular? Early Peach?
Olive did very little for me.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.
He appeared to not have much off the mark for my liking
It was hinted at when he signed with us we signed him for about $300k. If true a huge waist of money. I think we signed him on potential. Can’t remember if he was a JC or a NH signing.
#TitansThruNThru #WeAreReady
A lot of people talked him up at the time which got less knowledgable people like me excited. But we didnt see much of him due mostly to injury I guess. Still we cant stockpile average players if there are others of greater ability available.
I take full responsible for any positive John Olive discussion.
Im not sad that Olive is off to Dogs but I am fairly disappointed that he never reached the potential he showed as a Junior Rabbit/North Sydney Bear. There was obviously no serious pathway for him here with the recruitment of Brenko and potentially Peachey, but I wish him well at the Bulldogs I hope he can make that next step in his career and lock down a starting spot.
Anyone else catch the Bryce Cartwright news?
@JimmyHooper - BREAKING: @PenrithPanthers star Bryce Cartwright to be released to @GCTitans effective immediately. Details @FOXNRL @FOXSportsAUS soon

^^^^ oh god...I don’t know I can accept this positively. That whole saga with his Ex GF was terrible stuff. Going to take a little while for me to warm to him.
Football wise it’s a terrific signing I guess.
