I think a back line of:

    1. Gordon
    2. Sami
    3. Peachey
    4. Lee/Copley
    5. Don/Lee

Is pretty damn good, wouldn’t be dropping Sami to reserve grade as I’m a supporter of him this year. He’s been solid for us and still has to stuff to work on, but he’s only young and will develop as the years go on.

Anyone like to bet that we'll be seeing this:

    1. Brimson
    2. Gordon
    3. Copley
    4. Peachey
    5. Lee
    6. Tyrone Roberts
    7. Ash Roberts-Taylor just kidding

Ps. Hope to see Elgey prosper and love Hipgrave

Hopefully Elgey kills it at another club and makes everyone that has had an obsession with hating him over the years eat their words.
    Bring back Kevin Gordon

I would actually love to see that line up. Think it gives us a lot of attacking threats on both sides of the field, and don't mind Copley and Peachey in defence.

Cartwright’s manager provides update on client’s playing future
    Ben Cotton - July 19, 2018 - 10:47 am
Cartwright’s manager says he is committed to the Titans.

Titans recruit Bryce Cartwright is set to see out his contract for the Gold Coast and will not move clubs, according to his manager Allan Gainey.

It has been a disappointing season for Cartwright since crossing over from Penrith, who has struggled with poor form and injuries.

Reports recently emerged suggesting that the 23-year old was seeking opportunities elsewhere and that the club had been shopping him around.

Titans coach Garth Brennan denied such rumours to the Courier Mail, claiming that Cartwright’s management was weighing up his client’s options.

The Sea Eagles reportedly had interest in the second-rower, whose uncle, John Cartwright, works for and could help mentor and nurture his nephew back to full form.

But Gainey said Cartwright is staying put and is committed to breaking back into the Titans’ first-grade team.

“I have no issue with Bryce’s commitment, he is just down on confidence and that’s been reflected in his games,” Brennan told the Courier Mail.

“We all know Bryce is a talent, but the ball is now in his court. If he wants to knuckle down and work hard I will pick him, if he’s not going to do that, then I will pick on form, not reputations.”

Forget Ryan Hall, titans should have a crack at getting someone like Regan Grace. A nice full pre season and a experienced back to guide him could see his blinding speed and footwork tear the comp up.

The team needs a counterpuncher and he could provide it

    Far out imagine this:

    1. Gordon
    2. Tupou
    3. Copley
    4. Peachey
    5. Lee

    That’d be a backline and a half...

    Another thing:

With Elgey as good as gone, we’ve been obviously linked to Tyrone Roberts and Corey Norman. If we were to sign one of those players, which would you all prefer? Or would you rather have Brimson stay at 6?

Dont like that backline personally. Similar dynamics on the wings, no speed and signing a player that is past his best. IMO it doesnt make long term sense and blocks a pathway. We’re desperate for a speedman who can finish.

Re second question - Norman by a mile. Sorry Ash

Has to be Norman. Ash and Tyrone will become teachers pets and create inequality.
