It’s hard not to have too much expectation on the young kid with our season slowly slipping away. At least confidence doesn’t seem to be an issue for him. When asked by Brennan if he’s ready to go this week he replied with ‘what took you so long’ haha

Im not being funny, but i think he is like a faster version of Jackson Hastings... sounds weird as he is getting a bum wrap last year or so, but at 19 he was a fairly elite talent.

I don’t think that Boyd signing means Wallace leaving. There’s room in the squad and cap for both especially if James continues to be seen as a 2nd rower.
The forward pack that’s being shaped should excite Wallace to sign.

Hopefully you're right Bods. That'd be a really intriguing forward pack for sure. You'd have to think one of the strongest on paper in the comp to be honest.

Now we just need to look at some backline players and maybe an experienced 5/8 and we're set (assuming the Boyd rumours true).

It would appear not much has changed with the management of the club. I don't mind Shannon Boyd coming here, but definitely not that excited to see the club cough up 700k a year for his services.

Agreed Toads. Why do we always seem to pay overs for players. Id love to work & live on the Gold Coast , and you wouldn’t have to pay overs to get me there.

I'm not sure what to make of James at the moment, as player or captain, other than to say that in my opinion he has been extremely disappointing in both.
