Ok, so it's the Off Season and while the Club is busy trying to right itself after five years in the wilderness (that's definitely an obscenity), it's time for the Forum community to get busy doing something about what we can actually influence in preparation for the on-coming 2016 Season.

So here are some things that I would like to see implemented on the Forum and perhaps this thread could include others' opinions too. If our over-worked Mods then agree and digitatum extractus (is that an obscenity?) we may even be able to allocate individual thread management duties to interested volunteers to assist them. Here we go:

1. Open the weekly 3-2-1 player awards thread (I have already agreed to sponsor this award)
2. Get the v-money thingy going again (vCash to you trogolodytes)
3. Fantasy football and tipping comp threads
4. Individual player threads for comment
5. Forum activities such golf, pre and post game meetings and pocket billiard championships (is that obscene?)
6. Any other innovative and practical ideas
7. Go karts, bbq's
8. Social media: Google hangouts, WeChat group, Twitter.
9. Thread featuring exceptional posts and another for video content.

Finally, I will keep an eye on this thread and up-date with additions from the community ... now go to it!

Great ideas and i'm all for them. The only thing is that we need Tam to activate things like the player awards and the V-money.

golf day is a must. but we could add go kart days, bbqs, other things too.

I love the enthusiasm. I think we can play a big role in developing our fanbase.

Tam has said he has been busy but can definitely help us with technical things.

We can allocate roles for people to be responsible for certain things. Such as tipping and fantasy league.

I said before I think there is great scope for us to have videos and do google hangouts talking about the latest issues.

We can also include screenshots of some of the great posts that people make on the forum.

Last year it was implemented and we all had $500 vCash. Fake money and we could use it on the forum to place bets on teams. Was a lot of fun as you weren't concerned about blowing your cash.
