Surely neils got to see that hoffman is the worst makeshift 5/8 in the league and play someone like fogarty this week, why not give him a go and see if hes good enough to earn a contract next year! We are most likely gonna get the spoon so why not try something different. He cant do any worse than morts or hoffy in the halves

Couldn't agree more, GCTTSD. I wouldn't mind seeing all of the players who are being moved on next season (plus a large slab of the current roster) get to play QCup for the remainder of this year while we trial some of the younger guys. I honestly can't see a downside, and I'll have a reason to pay attention during the games.

Hala is awful, I mean dreadful. I didn't really watch him in Brisbane but felt he was cumbersome, but now I know ... he is a woefully muscle-bound behemoth.

This is the 'Spoon game ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. If we lose this one then we will be giving 'ole poopy draws' the title he so richly deserves ... perhaps Shillington can give that monstrous bulbous forehead a workout.

Anybody, and I mean anybody (including A. Taylor) that Bennett "lets" go is going to be flawed goods, imho. Most recently Hoffman and Barba.

Id rather see Greg Bird and Dave Taylor as starting halves, don't think I'll be watching this week
Or if we are unable to give Fogarty or any of the other younger guys a go cause of cap reasons then what about giving Mosely a go in the halves?

That is possibly the worst team we have put on the paddock this season. Only thing I'm happy with is 1,3 and 8.

Henry is quickly losing my respect for him as a coach by selecting Hoffman at 6 every single week.
