WARRIORS GO ZOMBIE

THE Warriors will host the first-ever rugby league zombie night at Mt Smart Stadium this Saturday night when the Roosters come to town.

Looking to improve fan experience and interaction at home games, the club has decided to employ the unusual yet interesting initiative known #ZombieNight.

According to the club, the scene for the night will be set by staff from the Auckland-based Zombie Survival Challenge who will roam the streets dressed as zombies.

“Our themes are a way of giving our members and fans the chance to add more to their game day experience,” Warriors fan engagement manager Rodney Wallace said.

“They come along first and foremost to support the Warriors and there’s no doubt there’ll be huge interest in having the Roosters here, even more so with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck lining up against us before joining the club next year.

“But we also aim to give supporters more reasons to enjoy their visit and want to come back again.

“We had a great response to our #GirlPower theme last week with so many members and fans getting into the spirit and challenge them to get dressed up again for our #ZombieNight.”

After a disappointing loss to the Rabbitohs over in Perth last Saturday night, the Warriors will be looking to bounce back against a depleted Roosters side who are also coming off a loss to the Sharks.
