Seem to add new into the mix; sounds a little scary but all good news though.

"New?" Sounds like a Nintendo product....

Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.
Really impressive press conference. Smith took no **** from dick head reporters.
No confusion that we are here to stay, we will be named the titans, and Searle is OUT!
Feel for Daryl Kelly, but hope he can be involved in future.
To be honest, if DCE didn't seriously consider coming to us now he'd have to be a bit of a goose. A golden opportunity has presented itself and he's got a front row seat.
As for Searle GONE!!! I'm ****ing ecstatic!
Yeah this is bloody brilliant.......they would of already outlined this to DCE i reckon. Balls in his court now.
Also, whether Mr Kelly is gone or still with us. I hope they dedicate a home game to him this year, so the fans and alike can show him their appreciation.
So what happens to Darrell Kerry's ownership? (Brisbane Times has a Japanese proof reader)
I would love to see this press conference, I'm at work. If anybody has a link I would very much appreciate it if you could add it. Cheers!!
Mr Kelly in still an active Board member from how I read it so his still has involvement with the club in some way and it was great to see him at the press conference, hopefully when the smoke clears he will somehow buy back into the franchise albeit at a reduced rate with other potential investors. I think he still will have a large say of happenings at the titans
Gold Coast Titans drug scandal: NRL takes control of ownership of the Titans to assure future
Staff writers News Corp Australia February 24, 2015 3:31PM SHARE
THE NRL has taken control of the ownership of the Gold Coast Titans in a move to secure the under-siege club’s long-term future.
Smith and other members of the NRL’s executive team flew up to the Gold Coast for crisis talks with the club last night and this afternoon Smith confirmed that he would “build a club the fans can be proud of”.
The decision to take over the club comes in the wake of the Titans drug scandal which has rocked the club to its foundations.
“This is an exciting day for the club ... it ensures its long-term future on the Gold Coast,” Smith told a press conference.
Smith was at pains to clarify that the NRL was now the club’s “sole shareholder” but would not be running the club, with the Titans’ current board and management team remaining in place.
“This is a really important day for the Titans because it demonstrates a long-term commitment to the Gold Coast and the Titans,” Smith said.
“This is a restructure, the club as of today has had the administrators brought in and the club has come under the control of the NRL.
“The Titans will play a significant role this year and the years to come.

Just watched the press conference, thanks Surfers66, and I was impressed by how firm Dave Smith was. No BS and to the point. Onward and upward....
