St George Illawarra has agreed in principle to release fullback Adam Quinlan so he can take up a one-year deal with Parramatta.
Quinlan, who made 25 appearances for the Dragons, is a handy acquisition for the Eels and coach Brad Arthur in the post-Jarryd Hayne era.
"[Quinlan] can add some quality depth to our back line and be one of many young players challenging for a spot in our starting side," Arthur said.

Wigan Winger Joins Roosters
AFTER months of speculation, Super League outfit Wigan have confirmed winger Joe Burgess is heading to Sydney – and RLW can reveal the Sydney Roosters is his destination.
The 20-year-old will join the Tricolours on a three-year deal.
Burgess came up through the Wigan system and was named in England’s 2014 Four Nations squad but wasn’t able to get a start.
NRL fans would have had a glimpse of the youngster when he played in the World Club Challenge against the Roosters last February.
The RLW Mole first reported the move in October and Wigan’s football general manager and director Kris Radlinski confirmed on Thursday he’ll be heading Down Under.
“We did everything we could but he wants to experience the Sydney lifestyle,” Radlinski told a Warriors fans forum.
Burgess was promoted to Wigan’s starting line-up last season as Pat Richards’ replacement, and proved an instant hit scoring 25 tries in 27 appearances.
