It is disappointing because at least there was change at the club. Possibly potential sponsors want further change.

Yeah mate, I reckon they just got jack of the same old regurgitated excuses and when the new broom swept through the players responded like drunken fools … we'll have to tighten (no pun intended) belts until we can prove we have something worth being associated with.

It's got to be that, pretty well everything has been changed apart from some of the older players on our roster, and some office staff. The only way we'll find out for sure is if the major shareholder sells out, before there's nothing else to salvage and rebuild from.

Admittedly, Micheal Searle has done a lot of good for RL and the Club in the early days. But it is well overdue he got out for best interests of the Club.

It's a hard sell: a troubled club constantly berated by the press, working from borrowed offices and playing out of a container on a high school field ... yep, I'll put a few million into that.

My Dad says "something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it." Sounds like the price is too high for a damaged brand, and they may need to lower their expectations if they want to get a sponsor. Love the charity idea if we can't secure one though.
