jokes of course, Mead and Gordin in a land slide, although if sideshow bob hung around he could have been Meads Co Winger. He was great while he was here.

edit! just saw Supergooses similar mention of ben jeffrey and smith samau in the FB poll, which i hadnt read yet. i think we need a full list of player who played in each position, even if its just for the cool discussion it would create.

Yeah it looks like Mead and Gordon will take the 2 wing spots with Preston guaranteed to win the fullback poll. So far it looks like:

2. Gordon
5. Mead

I also think Petersen could have been great if he stuck around. Had a knack of finding the line which was showed by him leading the club's try scoring list in 2007.

And from now on I will add more players to the poll. The centres are next.

I don't want to hijack the wingers thread early (even though it is cut and dried who will get the spots) but next are the centres - how can you pick two deserved players from this lot:
Jamal Idris
James Roberts
Clinton Toopi
Brett Delaney
Brad Takairangi

Just shows how bad we have been in the centres other than when Rogers was there. Obviously Roberts is new but of the others even though most played one or two memorable games, overall none of them did much to excite. Might have to vote informal in the next poll.

i would pick mat rogers at centre if we had a decent 6 to select later on in the 5/8th poll (kelly even though he wore 7?)...probably could pick preston at 6 if we had someone decent in the fb spot....i feel like we could go in circles with only Mead Prince Presto and Rogers our stand out backs in 8 years of fielding a team.
