Default PACIFIC TEST DOUBLE HEADER FOR 2015!

PACIFIC TEST DOUBLE HEADER FOR 2015!

"The mid-season Test between Australia and New Zealand will be played on a stand-alone representative weekend from May 1-3, which will also include a Pacific Island double header."

Finally we will have all four major Pacific nations taking part in the Rep Round!

Great for these nations who get a regular Test Match and also great chance to convert some NRL fans to become fans of International Rugby League!

Special ticket offer for ANZAC and Pacific Tests

Broncos and Titans members will be given the first opportunity to secure tickets to the standalone representative round fixtures in Queensland tomorrow – which will feature five matches and six nations, highlighted by the 2015 ANZAC Test.

A special ticket offer will enable fans to attend both international events, on May 1 & 2, for as little as $40.

Members of the two clubs will be given a special "buying window" from 10 am tomorrow for tickets to the ANZAC Test at Suncorp Stadium on May 1 – and the Papua New Guinea v Fiji and Samoa v Tonga double header at Cbus Stadium on May 2.

The ANZAC fixture will also feature curtain raisers between the Jillaroos and Kiwi Ferns, and the Junior Kangaroos who will take on the Junior Kiwis on May 2.

Broncos and Titans members are being given first opportunity to buy tickets because the matches will be staged at their home grounds.

All other club members will then be able to purchase tickets on Wednesday (11 March) and tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Thursday (12 March).

Adult tickets can be purchased from $30 for Friday night’s Test match, and as little as $15 for Saturday night’s Pacific Test double header. A double game ticket for both nights of entertainment can also be purchased from $40.

NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg said Queensland fans had already turned out in force for the All Stars match last month – and he expected a strong turnout for the representative matches.

"To have six nations playing across the weekend in both the men's and women's game is a real coup for Rugby League fans and I've no doubt that they will be excited to see these teams in action," he said.

"Staging a standalone round of representative football during the Telstra Premiership season signals that this is an important part of our calendar and is a true indicator of the diversity and growth of our game.

"We have received some fantastic support from the Queensland Government, through Tourism and Events Queensland, in order to make this happen."

The Trans-Tasman Test and Rugby League All Stars are supported by Tourism and Events Queensland as part of the It's Live! in Queensland events calendar.

I'm in for this massive day of RL. I got my tickets very early.

I think this will be one of the best days of RL beside GF day on the one field.

Is anyone else going to this?
