My thinking is kind of here too.
I loved Carter as a player but there was no way i'd be comfortable with him putting on a Titans jersey in 2015 after the immense disrespect he has shown the club and the fans. Needs to grow up and I hope he gets there because he's got oodles of potential as a footballer.
I think he had to go. second time for a major offence, and the same offence, showing a lack of intelligence or restraint, or both.
I said the same thing for Bird, we are not a club who can mess about and tolerate this. its so disrespectful of him when the rest of the club is trying to pull itself out of the mire.
i think he needs to sit out a year also. otherwise there is zero reason for him not to do it again, and no real deterrent for other players..in our club or the NRL.
wheres mini, harro and bails when you need them...perhaps we have a larger leadership void than we anticipated in the their absence.

I think Chris Sandow has that honour.
Oh well.. Better off clearing out the closet now, instead of during the 2015 season?
Titans management should ask for any other numbnut/s that want to come forward now, before they want to screw the brand over anymore.
Such a wasted talent, Carter.
He broke the law again and I echo Karnage thoughts. He could have killed someone and obviously didn't learn from his previous arrest. His sacking is a must. History does not want to repeat itself again as it did in Penrith decades ago.
#TitansThruNThru #WeAreReady
Incredibly, I am currently in Legoland Malaysia and I have to admit that Carter's behaviour seems a whole world away but considering the theme here is children's fantasyland then perhaps it isn't too far a stretch for my ageing brain.Sack him and get him off the Coast as quick as we can. He was a Bird clone in more ways than one and unlike some of us I couldn't stand his on-field presence. He was a petulant little turd heading for a train smash and here it is.Good riddance to bad rubbish and another member of that little Cartwright clique.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.
Seems like you knew a bit more about him than most of us Teke.
One thing that needs to be learned from this and other recruits is that the club needs to do much better in checking the character of these blokes before signing them. We don't just want good players but we need the right type of person as well and it seems just a bit of checking might have found some info about Carter.
The Swans had it pretty much right with their no ******** policy. Yes I know they signed a goose or two in later years but the mostly got it right. We need a similar policy here.
now is a great time for a leader in the team, not necessarily Myles, to stand up and demand better form his team mates.
A Sezer, a Mortimer, a Luke Douglas...even Mead although hes a winger would garner espect. it would be someone who isn't your first thought as a captain, but someone with integrity who takes the opportunity to get everyone into line behind them.
Id love to think that could happen, but i might br dreaming.
He'll end up getting a bigger contract for next year at another club than he would've been on with us
Oh woah... bad news. Carter had buckets of potential, a real future star. But he had to go. I agree with the sentiments here.
I too hope the NRL deregister him. Canberra did the right thing and go burnt. We can't let this continue, let him watch from the sidelines and reflect on his stupidity.
PUT EM TO THE SWORD! SHOW SOME STEEL!
Moejoe: "REMEMBER!!!! SLIP - SLOP - SLAP in the sun. Skin Cancer is a growing problem. It could happen to anyone!!"TITANS, DIEHARDS, WARRINGTON WOLVES, MAROONS, KANGAROOS, HONG KONG THUNDER
And the coward had the balls to try and get his girl friend to take the fall for him. Story in today's paper that the cops watched him trying to swap seats with her at 40km/hr before veering into oncoming traffic and then mounting the kerb and crashing.
If the NRL doesn't take a stand against this idiot they are kidding themselves.
Carter is not a wasted talent. He will be playing NRL very soon against us.
What the NRL needs to put in place is something similar to what Todd Carney did (yes, a tool, but he got Daly M the year he came back) - so send the Carter's of the world to go play bush footy for a year, make them work in the real world, and let them come back to the club that sent them on their way. they either fall away, or come back more sensible.
Otherwise Carter is simply another Josh Dugan type scenario.

Exactly! The NRL is clueless, and we are poorer for it.
