Charges Dropped Against NRL's Roberts

Public nuisance and obstruction charges have been dropped against Gold Coast NRL player James Roberts.
The 21-year-old made a brief appearance at Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday, where it was confirmed police had withdrawn the charges, which were in relation to a boozy night out in November.
The news will be a relief to Roberts, who is at the Titans after being sacked by South Sydney and Penrith.
When the charges were laid, Titans coach Neil Henry said the club was 100 per cent behind the player.
The NRL's integrity unit is investigating the incident involving Roberts, though Wednesday's development may result in the end of its investigation.
