Just a quick spread on who we play only the once..

I have noticed that we play 5 of the top 8 from last year just the once. Broncos we have twice but I wouldn't have it any other way.

What I do find strange is we play Cowboys only once but it is round 26? I would have preferred to play them twice but really...Round 26??

    TEAM ROUND ROUND
    1 Roosters 16
    2 Sea Eagles 18
    3 Rabbitohs 12
    4 Panthers 2 7
    5 Cowboys 26
    6 Storm 22
    7 Bulldogs 14 23
    8 Broncos 5 20
    9 Warriors 8 15
    10 Eels 6 21
    11 Dragons 25
    12 Knights 3 19
    13 Wests Tigers 1 13
    14 Titans
    15 Raiders 9 24
    16 Sharks 4 10

This........according to NRL.com Seems we rate the 14th easiest draw....I don't agree with Broncos as the hardest draw though...10 Friday night games from 20 rounds....so 7 day turnarounds (plus 1st round Thursday game so an 8 day turnaround there).

2015 draw difficulty (hardest to easiest, based on 2014 regular-season placings)
    =1. Broncos
    =1. Eels
    3. Rabbitohs
    =4. Bulldogs
    =4. Sharks
    6. Storm
    7. Panthers
    8. Wests Tigers
    9. Dragons
    10. Raiders
    11. Sea Eagles
    =12. Cowboys
    =12. Roosters
    14. Titans
    =15. Knights
    =15. Warriors

Wow.....We do have it easy...11 Saturday's, 3 Friday's and Sunday's and 1 Monday and no 5 day turnarounds! So Saturday is Fox so no Fox subscribers may need to sign or or find a pub if it is an away game! 6 away Saturday's and 5 home..

I think we have a far better draw for the run home next season but i'm with Shamus & think its strange to play the Cows only once & in round 26 ... & yet again no Rooters game at home..

The only downer I see if the lack of free to air games........Anyone who doesn't have Foxtel is buggered....Even if you attend all home games if you do not have Foxtel then it seems there is 3 maybe 4 free to air away games. I have listed below those games that are free to air from what I can make out.

    Away free to air.
Round 13 Friday night West Tigers
Round 14 Sunday 4pm kick off Dogs.....I assume this is a channel 9 game??*
Round 16 Sunday 2pm kick off Roosters.........Again I assume this is a channel 9 game??*
    Round 20 Friday night Broncos

    Total free to air
    Round 5 Friday night Broncos
Round 13 Friday night West Tigers
    Round 14 Sunday 4pm kick off Dogs.....Channel 9 game??*
    Round 16 Sunday 2pm kick off Roosters.........Channel 9 game??*
    Round 20 Friday night Broncos

*One of these will be Foxtel me thinks.

So 5 maximum Channel 9 games all season....

P.S. I have Foxtel so I am not complaining that loudly.

backhanded compliment is that the NRL is spruiking a more varied, higher quality monday night football game selection, while we think we are lucky to get only one Monday.

im still happy. overall really happy with the draw

A big shame, this must be the first year we dont play them twice? Seems wrong when we only have 3 NRL QLD clubs and should be promoting Derbies...

    Coaches comments - 2015 draw

Gold Coast Titans Head Coach Neil Henry says he is happy with the Titans 2015 draw but he would have preferred to play the Cowboys twice (like many on here).

Unless you have the NRL app on your device (which I have).

Fortunately for folks like us, shamus. We can click onto a di.fm'stream and get our techno fill, while sinking pi55.
