That is a must win clash in my opinion. Tigers are one of the weaker looking teams so a win against them is crucial to starting the season well.

I don't like Broncos vs Souths on Thursday. No traditional game against the Roosters.

Perhaps they are looking to jump start the Broncos TV ratings which suffered in 2014 and brought down our overall ratings.

Personally I like the start with the Broncos and Rabbits, assuming that this is a Broncos home game. Bennetts return against the premiers will just about sell out Suncorp even on a Thursday night. In recent years playing Roosters and Rabbits on a Thursday night has taken 15K off the crowd.
In regard to our game I am just hoping that there are no more stupid 1pm or 2pm kickoffs in the first few weeks when it is far too hot here.

With "hopefully" all our off-field and coaching issues behind us this sounds like the perfect opportunity to kick our season off with a bang. If we can stay fit and healthy and have a solid pre-season the hopefully we will see just what kind of immediate impact Henry has had on our club. Definitely a must win in my eyes.

Some rumour that there will be a bunch of NRL games on Anzac Day... Like a marathon. I think one or two games at different locations is ok. Anything else is disgraceful. Anzac Day isn't an excuse for a football extravaganza. I'll boycott the lot of this turns out to be true.

Especially as it will be 100 years since Gallipoli, there are far more appropriate things to be doing.

There was something in the Telegraph today written by that halfwit Rothfield that the Roosters had complained about kicking off in Townsville at 6pm and apparently our game and the Cows have been swapped i.e. we kick off against the Tiges at 6pm with the Cows and Rorters at 8pm (Qld times).
