They've just got to keep punching away … they are a long way better than last year's effort so onwards and upwards.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.

Huddo very well spoken and talks with confidence which is great to see. You see many young players interviewed and they stumble and mumble their way through

Do not e surprised to see Mitch Doring come into the squad at some point, he is from NSW country and has been killing it for Burleigh Colts, including scoring a hat trick a few weeks ago, and another yesterday. He played his junior football at half but has made a successful transition to fullback. Also Brett Stratton has been great defensively at centre, he will not be out of place when he gets his NYC chance. Ethan Page is averaging over a try a game for Ipswich Colts, so we have a few options if Woolf needs them. All three mentioned are NYC eligible next year as well.

Mdrew I have been waiting for someone to mention Mitch, I really think he is a very good player. I know him well and after hearing all thr talk about the halves he would do this team wonders given a chance. Titan C apparently our middle interchanges were terrible or are we in need of changes in our middles all together. The Boys give any team enough ball let alone the Broncos they will lose everytime, if you know anywhere we can find the Nyc player stats we will probably see how well the boys are going. Good to get feedback as I was told our right edge was poor and our starting middles were good so for someone who aint at the games the feedback is awesome. Good luck this week boys!!!

Yeah the 20's boys who have played with Mitch have huge wraps on him. One even said he's the best fullback he's ever played with. Guy has benefitted from the switch to fullback and Newcastle have noticed..

I seen Mitch play a couple weeks ago when he got the hat trick and agree can play.

We have a plethora of full backs coming through - Kelly, Doring, GL. The competition will be tight.

In-form second-rower Hayden Schwass will return from injury for the Titans under-20s clash with Parramatta Eels at Pirtek Stadium this Saturday.

Like NRL coach Neil Henry, Ben Woolf will go without a specialist hooker on the bench after elevating Delayne Ashby in place of Deacon Fletcher who has been dropped. However, five-eighth Karl Lawton or Daniel Schwass, Hayden’s twin brother who comes into the side, can cover the position.

Woolf has picked a 19-man squad with injury doubts over Nathan Watts (ribs) and Josh Berkers (ankle).

    The team is:

    NYC Squad Vs Parramatta Eels

    1

    Brian Kelly

    2

    Zac Spring

    3

    Jed Cartwright

    4

    Shaun Hudson (capt)

    5

    Rory Humphreys

    6

    Karl Lawton

    7

    Brayden Torpy

    8

    Oshae Tuiasau

    9

    Delayne Ashby

    10

    Max Elliott

    11

    Anthony Colman

    12

    Hayden Schwass

    13

    Parahi Wilson (capt)

    14

    Daniel Schwass

    15

    Shane Wright

    16

    Nathan Watts (ribs)

    17

    Josh Berkers (ankle)

    18

    Shane Gillham

    19

    Ethan Page

Good to see Daniel Swchass come into the side as well as a few new interchange forwards.Good luck boys!!

Watch how much more structured and composed the team plays with him in the halves.

Parra have some class wit Bevo at fullback and Davis in the halves. If we are clever we will watch how the tigers took them both out of the game

Colman out of match this weekend with injury. Will see Berkers or Wright come in to starting lineup

Big loss - Colman is a superb player

In sad news, James Iodice has retired through injury. James was a talented front rower and I'd like to extend our thanks as supporters for his services to the club.

I am shocked at this news, James was our best forward in the early rounds cant believe it.

That is sad news for a very good player in James Iodice and yes he was one of our best forwards in early games and a very good up & coming front rower for our club. I dont know the facts but I hope its is only for this year, does he have to have an operation and that may just put him out this year?
Yes HS, a big Thank You to James Iodice.

Sorry I have always spelt Colman with an 'e' and HS is it true that he injured his knee in the training session on Thursday before last Fridays game (& played 80 minutes & defence as usual outstanding - guts effort) Also heard rumour that several players were sore from Thursdays strange session where plenty of hard contact instead of just Captains Run? HS any word on that
Our Team did look flat in 2nd half
I'm not sure about the details of Colman's injury unfortunately mate, same goes for the Thursday training. I'll follow up.

The team had an opposed training run vs NRL side last night. Fly to Sydney tomorrow night instead of the day trip.

Also, here are the highlights from Burleigh's big win over the Dolphins in the weekend (Colts). Daniel Schwass on show, along with Sam Grant, Brent Stratton, Jenan and a whole host of other Titan's contracted players.
