@RugbyLeagueNews: Hearing talk that Sam Perrett may be released by the Bulldogs to sign a deal with GC Titans. Creating salary for Dogs to sign Will Hopoate.

Not sure how I feel about it if true tbh...

TITANS LOOKING FOR THREE MORE PLAYERS
Written by GREG PRICHARD , October 25, 2015
GOLD Coast Titans still have three spots left to fill on their 25-man playing roster for next season and enough money left under the salary cap to fill the spots with quality, established players.
It is unusual for NRL clubs to have multiple spots to fill on their roster at this late stage, with pre-season training about to start, and even more unusual for them to have significant cap space left.
But RLW has learned that the huge turnover of players from the end of last season at Gold Coast still leaves a few places open and significant money to spend.
The decision by superstar Daly Cherry-Evans to back-flip on a mega-rich deal with the Titans was another major reason for cash still being available.
Currently, the Eels Will Hopoate and veteran Willie Mason are the standout free agents left on the open market.
It is understood Titans coach Neil Henry is biding his time rather than rushing in to fill the spots in case some quality players who would fill the club’s needs become available.
The Titans have added halves Tyrone Roberts and Ash Taylor along with experienced forwards David Shillington and Zeb Taia.

The story was reading quite well until it got to the part that said Mason and Hoppa were the standout free agents left. Wouldn't want either of those. Hoppa would have been great if he regained his form prior to his two years missionary work, but if he had regained that form Parra wouldn't be playing games with him and trying to force him out.
The fact that we have three spots still available for good quality players at this late stage does not reflect well on the clubs recruitment strategy OR our ability to attract players.
All I'm hoping for is for a Josh Papalii or Aiden Guerra to get homesick and want to come back to QLD. Or for Ben Teo to want to come here.
Some more noise today about Morts to Dogs again!!
Also reported that Sam Burgess maybe back to $outh$. If so could make it difficult for Te'o to return, additionally with Te'o Girlfriend in. Brisbane and Broncos not able to fit him in it may help us in signing him but not getting hopes up.
