Yeah it would be interesting what Friendy would have to say. On his day Hurrell was right up there but there must be other things happening for the Warriors to consider letting him go. Certainly a better centre than what we have, other than Roberts.

From a few reports I have seen/read over here he is a lazy trainer and wants the fame and fortune, but won't work for it. 1 newspaper article said he was told to work on his diet, 2 days later he was taking selfies with fans at KFC...

Where did you hear that from mate. I know he was spoken of in an article a month or so ago as being able to talk to other clubs. It would make sense that if The Dogs are looking at him after
Loosing Cook and Hogkinson.

It's actually says Gavet but I don't trust that page. They always post crappy rumours. Hope we do sign him though.

TITANS SNARE OLIVE

Gold Coast have signed South Sydney young gun John Olive on a two-year-deal from 2017.

The 18-year-old is one of the most exciting prospects in the game and will join the Titans after seeing out the final year of his contract with the Rabbitohs.

Olive made his NRL debut against Wests Tigers in round 14.

I think so.

He's only 18 so still got another year in Under 20's and should have made JR Kangas over Drew this year (imho) . Will be a constant in the U20 rep teams for 2016 so will get some fair exposure so we can get a look in.

He's very fast off the mark and scored some pretty freakish tries in NSW Cup this year. Played 20's initially but was carving the grade too much so they promoted him early. I'll try find some footage.

He also featured inside BK for NSW 20's. Olive was the lad burning Marion Seve all night.

Good signing but 2017 is some way off while anything could happen between now and then … I hope he matures in their system and comes to us as a better player.
