Surely Ryan James moves back into the middle next year with Zeb Taia coming over. James' defence and attack up the middle against the raiders just confirmed for me that he is a new breed prop more than an edge backrower.

Happy to see White off to Melbourne. Watching Blake Austin take him to ground 1 on 1 with ease, after a wound up, full speed charge was just embarrassing.

Made me even more upset that we are losing a bloke like Max Elliot next season.

aside from Titanic and Myself, i cant recall anyone willing to back him a couple of weeks ago....most were super negative about it. im gonna start a list and cross them off as people come around on him.

I've been watching T Roberts progress since SG Ball days in Newie, and since making 1st grade, he consistently only has 3-4 decent games a year, and goes missing the rest of the time.

The skills he displayed last night was an example of when he is on - he can win games yep.

Two bonuses in signing him is his general kicking game is above anyone else we have at the club though, and his goal kicking will come in handy.

I've always believed James is a prop & should be put back there.

Whitey wont get game time next year with the new rule change on interchange players. Teams will look to players like James, who can play 2nd row or prop, in order to get extra minutes out of them
