Losing Sims might just be the Cowboys stumbling block this week. Here's hoping that's not the case though..

He was always going to cop time (didn't realise he was gunna cop what he did though!)...so the $10,000 fine Green and the Cowboys got wasn't really worth it coz he would have been rubbed out for the last 2 (1 whatever) game/s anyway.

To be honest, I'm surprised it took this long for Sims to be sidelined this year. Great player, just plays with too much agro (defensively) that has nearly bought him undone on various occasions throughout the season.
So yeah, even though Green is right about the lack of consistency with refs and judiciary. That very trait has saved both Cowboys/Tariq numerous times already this year.Last edited by Toads; 17-09-14 at 09:20 AM.

In fact, I prefer Lowe to Sims so I think they may be a real chance ... put the young bloke on SBW.

Yeah I agree, they really lose nothing with Lowe coming into the starting side for Sims.
Though I still think the Roosters will win this, the Cowboys weren't very convincing in that second half against the Broncos last week.

Brilliant game to come from 30-0 to 30-30 but to lose again to another controversial refs call , I'm glad I'm not a Cows supporter or I'd probably give the game away..

If I was Thurston I would say I just earnt $1k man of the match you guys need to stump up another $9k as I'm going to cut loose on the presser.

Deadset that hurt and im not even a cowboys fan. Another year and another final ruined by poor calls. Im with you Titan Pete I dont know how their supporters can cope with this again I would hand the NRL another cent!

I watch the press report this morning & I would have to congratulate Green on his review of the match when he could've just whined about how poor the last call was but he blamed the Cows 1st half effort for the loss but poor JT was just shattered , brilliant performance from him again.
