Just said in the Cows v Broncs thread that i hope the Broncos are as inept at finding the line as they were tonight.

Any forum members heading to this game? Pre-drinks at the Caxton? Sitting where? Away Bay?

Anyone up for a catch-up pre-game, possibly post game.

Realistically zilly should be going to burleigh to get some fitness up, definitely won't happen. He will get slaughtered against hodges. Do we have anyone that would be able to fill in there? We should have a field day down reeds side if we are smart enough to target his severe lack of pace.

I am really looking forward to this game. I just hope a team that can tackle actually turns up!

Blair, Tighe, Henry, Bailey, Carter and White all available and should get in there for Zillman, Gordon, Sezer, James (Origin hopeful ... lol), Srama (until fit) and Minichiello.
Four reasons to escape to Queensland: Sun, Surf, Sand & the Titans.

Tighe will play left as he has all season. Blair would be best at 5/8. Should be an interesting line-up with Bird unavailable. I wonder how bad James' shoulder is. He will be dropped regardless though. He needs to play serious minutes in the Qld Cup. Zillman needs the same. Hopefully Carter gets the start for Bird.

Geese are the ultimate team players.

    I would like to see:
    1. Mead
    2. Gordon/KFFL
    3. Tighe/KFFL
    4. Takairangi
    5. Don
    6. Sezer
    7. Kelly
    8. Douglas
    9. Falloon
    10. Myles
    11. Carter
    12. Taylor
    13. Harrison
    BENCH:
    14. Ioane
    15. White
    16. Bailey
    17. Srama
FaiFai Loa deserves a chance. Scored 3 or 4 tries on the weekend. Might add some strike power we need on the edges. Zillman should be dropped but we know Carty won't drop him for Tighe/KFFL. Carter deserves starting second-row spot with Bird out.

KFFL scored 1 good try and 2 pretty easy finishes. I agree, I would take Merritt (as long as you are not talking about Nathan) over Kalifa.

I can't see much changing tbh.

The addition of carter is a massive boost for us, his sting in defence and offloads really boost us when he comes on.

Gold Coast Titans to target Broncos' Ben Barba

Don't expect Gold Coast five-eighth Aidan Sezer to take long before he tests Brisbane fullback Ben Barba's nerves in Friday night's NRL derby.

Sezer was the beneficiary of a crucial mistake by Barba when the Titans overcame the Broncos in April, stripping the ball from the out-of-sorts Brisbane star to score the matchwinning try in a 12-8 win.

While Barba's form has since improved for his new club, Sezer says the Titans will be sure to target the Broncos' No 1 when the south-east Queensland rivals meet at Suncorp Stadium.

But the Gold Coast pivot says pressuring Barba is more about limiting his impact than forcing him into errors.

''He's a fullback and he's one of their strike weapons so we're not going to go away from him,'' Sezer said.

''We're going to put as much pressure on him as we can.

''He's one of their dangerous players and we've got to shut him down. If you give him a bit of space he'll tear you to shreds.''

Sezer admitted he was less than 100 per cent fit after struggling with an ankle injury in the build-up to last weekend's 40-18 hiding by South Sydney.

The 22-year-old hopes another week of preparation will help him be in better shape against the Broncos.

''Everyone plays with injuries during the NRL. I'll just try to get it right for Friday and see how it goes.''
