Does Hayne deserve the hate?

I was thinking that all the hate you see against Hayne, especially from Queenslanders is probably unwarranted.

He is a skilled player and I can't remember many examples of him being unsportsmanlike.

Just jealousy? Deathriding?

I think his ego went unchecked there for a little while. But since he has knuckled down again, he's doing alright now. Keep playing good footy without getting big head about it, and I reckon his name will go down as one of great players of the game.

He's a brilliant player & would make any team in the world at anytime , I think the "Haine Train/Plane" gave off a bit arrogance about him probably the 1st player since Mundine but I've never had a problem with it , the game needs characters & his post try celebrations make him standout

If u were talking about Hodges Hate then I would say yes he always deserves it

That's what provoked me to think about it. Hodges is a very talented player but DOES do things that warrant a bad reputation.

I can understand the Hayne plane thing, but I always loved it. Fans loved it. It added to the fun of the game. We need more of that.
