Spain granted Observer status by RLEF
The RLEF has recognised the work of the AERL – the Spanish Association of Rugby League - for its work towards the introduction and development of Rugby League in Spain.
Having completed and supplied the necessary paperwork, and having been assessed by the Rugby League European Federation (RLEF), the AERL has been awarded an official “Observer Membership” of the RLEF.
Spain joins other nations including Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Sweden, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago and United Arab Emirates as an 'Observer' nation, and will now seek to develop the sport further on a regional and national level.
