I think James does better as an impact player of the bench.

he is a beast and when he did start, he gave us instant aggression and dominance from minute 1.

Do you think White will be pushing Douglas early? I feel one wont be there

douglas was dissapointing last year i felt. i know he had perosnal issues going on, but he wasnt great for us, no matter how badly i wanted him to be. out of that original pack of signings for 2012 - idris, champion,douglas and few others, douglas was my pick of the bunch.

i would move myles to lock to play the same role from there like gallen does. have james and douglas starting.


White HAS to be there. over bailey if need be. which sounds blasphemous probably.

There's every chance ASADA will do Douglas, imho. I think that basket of eggs hasn't been cracked yet. In saying that I think he was in a comfort zone and needs a big wake-up call.

I just can't find a reason to select Zillman, Harrison, Srama or Minichiello over the others at this stage. Although if our club had any sense:

I like Mead at #1 and Bird at lock. Harro in the second row is just having him in the starting team for the sake of it. Same goes for Zillman at center imo. Tighe is a center, i'd hope KFFL gets a shot at wing before him. I thought Mini had a better year than Ridge in 2013 - so Ridge will really have to bring it if he wants to keep a bench spot (i hope he does, because i think Ridge at his best has way more upside).

Leaving Mini and Ridge out was hard, but Harro is more consistent and Carter looks to have a big future. Centers are my biggest concern. Whatever combination works best out of Taka, Blair, Tighe, Zillman and Liks would be fine with me, but i hope Gordon and Mead arn't pushed back there again.

I have zero delusions that this team will be close to the one picked by Carty. But it is my ideal team.

Really like your team Titanic. Just think we need 2 hooker rotation until either of our 3 guys stamp themselves as dominant 80min performers. If Falloon went down in your team, we would implode. Ridge 2012 - one of my favorite players for the year. Ridge 2013 - very disappointing. He should have to force his way back into the team from scratch imo.

I like his team too except you have 3 players in the back 5 that haven't worn a Titans jumper. positive/negative.
