Q3. From a 20-metre drop-out by Blue the ball bounces over the touchline at the halfway mark. What is the referee?s decision?


Q4. Blue is awarded a differential penalty from a scrum infringement. Blue punt kicks the ball, which is then caught on the full by Red standing in the Red in-goal area. What is the referee?s decision?

Not really a trivia challenge but a cunningly drafted article on the QRL website.

I just thought I'd post this, maybe someone would like to be a referee, lord knows our game needs more of them. Referees play a huge part in our game.

Brisbane Referees' Courses

Banyo Rugby League Club and O?Grady Park at Fairfield will host Level 1 Modified Referees? courses on Saturday, March 11.

With thanks to the co-operation of the Banyo club, the Brisbane Referees? Association can now host separate courses for interested parties both on the northside and southside.

The Modified course caters for those officiating in grades from under 7s through to under 12s.

Both courses are FREE to attend and run from 8.30am to 4pm with lunch supplied.

Banyo RLFC is located at Childs Rd, Banyo, while O?Grady Park can be found on Brougham St at Fairfield.
