Couldn't find the match entertainment thread so this will do. Bloody Warriors are doing things that we should. How Auckland rates as an entertainment hub compared to the Coast is beyond me ... anyway you can read it here and weep:

Nanjing is hosting the Summer Youth Olympic Games starting 16 August and the whole town of 8 million is jumping out of its collective skin.

Wow that was a great read, well done Warriors. I'll keep an eye on what they are up to.

    We could learn a lot.

Let's get a big crowd to celebrate the new era! Manly are always crowd pullers as well and a worthy and threatening opponent.

Was going to hold off until the Bulldogs match, but looks I'll be going to this one instead.

    With heavy rain predicted...

    2014 - Round 23 Sunday 17 Aug, 8,500
    2013 - Round 2 Sunday 17 March 12,267
    2012 - Round 26 Saturday 1 September 14,927
    2011 - Round 10 Monday 16 May 12,360
    2010 - Round 14 Friday 11 June 17,508
    2009 - Round 11 Sunday 24 May 16,126
    2008 - Round 17 Friday 4 July 21,374

But figures will get fudged...and would have been only 6,500 because of extra support for recent events.

Most will be Manly travellers on their Club away package that Manly offer.

Hoping for in excess of 14,000 but if it is going to be bucketing, we are going to be in big trouble.

Yep..... Sunshine and roses here today.... Changed my mind about crowd figures...It is an absolute cracker of a day...No excuse for less than 15,000 (around 8,00 Manly folks). Everyone has their wish, so turn up. The ground itself will be a mud bath so although Manly might try some free flowing football early it will end up being too slippery to keep it up long. So me thinks the Titans one off stuff through the middle may actually work* today.

*When I say work, I mean be within 6-8 of Manly by FT. That's a win to me...

P.S. Not sure whether to wear my Titans or Manly jersey....

Just kidding.....Playing at home so Titans jersey it is..........

Ground in great order. The 20's didn't leave a mark on it.

Who was this idiot! Oh, it was me. The turf was dry! I live less than 2 klms away and my games room was flooded! (Always a chance of that coz 'games room' sounds posh...this is just a room off my carport but you get the picture)....anyways, I was surprised at how the ground held up...gunna shut up now...wifes (wives?) (wife's) birthday today so been on the drink since 10am (Go Merrimac!) so I am a little tipsy... Geez.......You should see the wife....
