An article on the Warriors note that they are having open NYC trials the week after us. They note that eight players from their open trials last year won contracts and actually made their NYC debuts this year for the Warriors including four or five who played in the grand final. Hope we have the same success from our open NYC trials this week.

    NYC PREVIEW: Titans v Roosters
    http://www.titans.com.au/news/2015/0..._titans_v.html

The injury list has grown since the bye weekend three weeks ago for the Gold Training under-20s Titans so they will to have to bring their best when they take on Sydney Roosters this Sunday at Central Coast Stadium (11.45am kick-off).

Coach Ben Woolf said the Roosters have been a similar side to us and we will need to dominate early to win this game.

“The key for us is to get a good completion rate, high percentage of possession, control the speed of the ruck and have good defence,” Woolf said.

“The Roosters are a good attacking team, under pressure if you give them too much ball they will score down your end.

“It is a game that is winnable and we need to get out there and make sure we perform.”

The under-20s Titans side will need remaining players to have a strong defensive effort and will need to have a good attacking game.

“Our middle forwards will need to be strong this weekend and we will need the strike of Shaun Hudson and Greg Lelesiuao,” he said, adding that the pair will interchange at fullback at different stages.

“Lelesiuao is still young, he is a very good runner of the ball and having him on the wing he will be able to play to that. Hudson is a better passer of the footy and will spend majority of the game at fullback.

“We were very good against the Sharks and if we can reproduce that, get our attack a little bit sharper and hopefully we can get away with a win.”

Brian Kelly, who injured his knee three weeks ago against Wests Tigers, failed a fitness test and will miss the match, replaced on the wing by Tyronne Davis.

The Gold Training under-20s team is:

    1 - Shaun Hudson (capt)

    19 – Tyronne Davis

    3 – Rory Humphreys

    4 - Josh Berkers

    5 – Greg Lelesiuao

    6 – Daniel Schwass

    7 - Brayden Torpy

    8 – Oshea Tuiasua

    9 – Delayne Ashby

    10 - Max Elliott

    11 - Shane Wright

    12 - Hayden Schwass

    13 - Parahi Wilson (capt)

    Interchange:

    14 – Shane Gillham

    15 - Chris Law

    16 – Rhys Duke

    17 – Daymeric Pelo

    18 – Jackson Clarke
