Fiji Bati take the sting out of Rochdale Hornets in World Cup warm-up

Fiji Bati have warmed up in style ahead of their opening world cup match against Ireland by running riot against Championship 1 side Rochdale Hornets 0-78.

The warm-up match provided a much welcomed hit-out for the Bati at their home away from home Rochdale. The Fiji Bati used the match to work on player combinations and will be feeling quietly confident going into their opening world cup match in Rochdale on Monday the 28th of October.

Kevin Naiqama was devastating at fullback and won man of the match while Corbin Sims scored three tries in the first 15 minutes of the first half.

Coach Rick Stone now has his work cut out selecting the best 17 for the opening world cup match.
