If they are only aiming for 7th-10th they are doing it wrong. As you should always be aiming for the top otherwise your not going to achieve anything.

Rubbish , we were expected to finish Top 4 any less was to be considered a failure , i'll give Cartwright another chance to show he is a good coach because he now has a Great assistant coach next to him

Jay must have followed North Sydney Bears in a previous life. That was their line of thinking and they did not win a comp after 1921.

Yeah that is silly to set finishing positions for each year.

Why limit the players expectation? We needed to believe that 2011 and 2012 were aberrations, not a trough that we needed to dig out of over 5 years.

I think you set plans for off field things and rosters, but once it comes to the games... You play each one on its merits. No wonder we trailed off and looked uninterested some times, we were above our expected position and just cruising.

I'll put my hand up and take some of the blame for last nights shenanigans.

I've toned it down a bit today and tried to encourage some debate. To be honest, I'd rather hear other peoples opinions and ideas, even if it means a bit of agro, because if we all agree it's pretty friggin' boring, and also, it's the only way to get some perspective across the whole Titan fan demographic and dynamic.

i agree with some of the True Titans Fans (it hurts just to call them that...:boo about this forum shouting down other peoples opinions. Ive seen it happen, and Ive done it before.

A lot of fans don't care about the coach, percentages, player stats or even winning and losing, some clearly just want to wear the jersey and be fans, and there is nothing wrong with that. It's just when some people think they are a bigger or better fan than others based on nothing more than their own opinion that gets me a bit worked up.

The only way to find out what people are thinking is to put it out there and see what they have to say. It's not about being right or wrong, it's just about having a say. The more informed information that is put out there, the better it will grow and become.

And it is the best stepping stone to get things sorted out now and grow a membership base, before the new forum goes live, whenever that may be.

Keep it up Titan Riley, it's already settled down a lot, and you've already helped clear a bit of the air between a few different people in a few different groups.

Whiz I agree too and I think the launch of the new site will be a great opportunity to address the guidelines / rules and moderation really grow as a group. I've had quite a few people on the facebook page questioning me about what I'm working on and I've mentioned a few of the features that will be coming and I'm getting some very positive responses. If we do it right our number will swell along with discussion and debate.

Jay Hellaby We were and that was the 3 year plan to gain momentum. Which we did, it established us as one of the few profitable clubs in the competition.

If you spend time around the club, watch what goes on, talk to the people like Searley, Chris Knell, Mayes when he was there etc, everything is very calm, confident and at ease - it has the feel of an organisation that knows where it is going, that doesn't care whats going on outside and who's saying what because they have a vision and a plan AND most importantly belief in themselves.

I just wish that was communicated better to the fans, because it would do wonders to counter the damage the media has done in the last 3 years.

Oh really. David May left because he was getting on so well with the rest eh and being allowed to do his job? Don't think so. Anyone that doesn't care what is going on outside and what people are saying are very foolish. Whether people are correct or not youshould always listen to opinion. All I see is people voting with their feet.
Anyway it is good to hear the views of others regardless what I and others think. After all, we are all Titans fans and all wishing for success.
