I have less of an issue with Mead being upset than I do with the preferential treatment TP gets. If Mead was so unhappy on the wing why did he sign an extension last year before he got his FB chance. The real issue is as I said the coaches bias toward Zillman. If we are going to protest to the club it should be on this aspect of the situation not Mead in my opinion. If a coach is going to play favourites he is putting the interests of the player ahead of the club and that is unacceptable.

It just throws the entire system out of orbit.

Not normal in my Titans town. It's bull#%^t how Mead is been treated. If he is not playing fullback soon through out the year then I will be calling and emailing the club every week. I will even offer to go with Mead to talk to the Titans.

After a lot of thought (no fainting you lot) I have an idea. Why not run the current contracts to their ends (except the coach) only focusing on using lower grade talent or a marquee player who becomes available. The following ate in order and considering that we have a new coach:

Fullback: Mead, Roberts, whatever juniors we have then Zillman
Wing: Don, Tighe, whatever juniors we might have, Gordon, KFFL.
Centre: Roberts, Blair, Takairangi, any juniors we have, Taylor
5/8: Sezer, Blair, Henry, any juniors including Irwin
1/2: Kelly, Henry, Sezer, any juniors we may have
Prop: Douglas, Ioane, White, James, Bailey, any juniors we may have then Myles, Minichiello
2nd: Taylor, Myles, Ridge, Takairangi, any juniors we may have then Carter, Bird, Minichiello
13: Bird, Carter, any juniors we may have then Myles, Takairangi
Hooker: One marquee signing, Falloon, Srama, Carter, any junior we may have but not Irwin.

Which gives us this starting 17:
