I can't think of any other player in the back line apart from Mead that deserves any other rap this season but I'm excluding Tighe & Blair because they have missed too much footy through injuries.

Mortimer could join Titans



Daniel Mortimer could be on the move after being courted by Gold Coast.

The Rooster utility was part of last year’s grand final-winning line-up but has struggled for game time.

The 24-year-old suffered injury setbacks early this year and spent the majority of his return for feeder club Newtown.

The premiers were banking on Mortimer featuring heavily during the Origin period but the axing of Mitchell Pearce and James Maloney from the NSW line-up has limited his opportunities.

The Titans almost got their man last year and are having another crack to add depth to their halves, which has been exposed after the season-ending injury to pivot Aidan Sezer.

I actually don't mind Mortimer and think he would be a handy depth signing.

If we sign Mortimer then we should let Beau Henry go. Don't understand why we would go after him and not use Henry?? Henry can play in halves rest Alby for a bit and still use Blair. Otherwise use Blair in the centres with Tighe.

I'm hearing from a reliable source that Neil Henry is off to the dragons. IMO he's been ineffective and leeching credit off the coaching staff.

Haha nice try. About Don, yep 100% agree first choice for wing. About Mead, nope, he should be our fullback. I agree with comments about Mead not having the complete package as fullback, but he offers so much more then Zilly and would like to see him given a lot more opportunity to develop the aspects of his game that need work on.

In saying that, I'd also happily welcome a Milford, Hayne to the club.

I don't know why Henry would want to be associated with the coaching staff. How effective would you expect him to be, after all he is only the Assistant behind the master.
I am assuming you might be related to Adam Blair - the biggest flop signing in years. Your posts are about as effective as his play.
