The iSelect Gold Coast Titans have today named back rower Ashley Harrison to play his 100th game for the club in Sunday’s Round 16 clash against the Knights at Hunter Stadium, Newcastle.

Harrison becomes only the eighth player in Titans history to reach the 100-game milestone for the club as he embarks on his sixth season on the Gold Coast.

The 32-year-old joins current teammates Mark Minichiello, Luke Bailey and William Zillman and former Titans players Preston Campbell, Scott Prince, Anthony Laffranchi, Nathan Friend in joining the 100-club.

iSelect Titans Coach John Cartwright today named a 20-man squad for Sunday’s clash against the Knights, with the availability of State of Origin forwards Greg Bird and Nate Myles to be determined later in the week following tomorrow night’s second Origin match.

With centre Brad Takairangi ruled out for up to three weeks with a rib cartilage injury following last night’s 18-12 win over Melbourne, David Mead has been named to return from a broken jaw in his absence.

Hooker Sam Irwin has also been added to an extended interchange bench.

yeah only a thrashing and a few other results could knock us out of top 8 if we lose. But i think we need to win this, then beat penrith at home, and then get 2 from the bye.

That would give us a week of to freshen up and launch our assault on the final 1/3 of the season. we would need 3 odd wins from last 8 to make it, but if we can win 5 or 6 we will deadset push for top 4 and a second chance.

what an exciting time. home game against souths, and Roosters whom we have yet to play will show us alot about what to expect should we make the finals.

p.s. 5th or 6th sees us host a home final. that would be great. the broncos semi in 2009 which we lost in a real points shootout is one of the best matches ive ever seen, for the actual game and for the crowd and spirit we had that night in the stadium.
