The Hunter Ports Newcastle Knights have now signed more than 12,000 Members as more fans make the Membership commitment for season 2013.

The Club is thrilled with the response and the continual increase of the membership tally highlights how loyal and passionate the Knights supporters are.

There is still a long way to go for the Club to reach its 20,000 target and the Club is urging all Knights fans to become a Member.

The Knights are currently the fourth largest Membership in the NRL with the Rabbitohs leading the way with over 19,000 Members.

Indeed. Though a decent and SECURE website probably helped streamline the process for supporters to sign on or renew their memberships. Some the Titans Management has yet to replicate.

P.S. I make no apologies for harping on about this topic, simply because what is on offer for us is well below what's acceptable. Titan Supporters do at least deserve a SECURE website to sign on/renew their membership without risk of their credit card information being leaked to whoever or wherever.

Sharks & Eels fans sign up in record numbers

Changes in coaches and new off-season signings have seen both Cronulla and Parramatta fans sign up for 2013 memberships in record numbers, with both clubs exceeding their 2012 membership totals in the lead up to the new Telstra Premiership season.

Parramatta, who are chasing 20,000 members, broke their 2012 number just over a week ago and currently sit just below 12,000 members with three weeks to go before the start of the season, whilst the Sharks, who have set the target of 10,000 have hit an all-time record for the club of 6,812 members.

Gold Coast Titans & South Sydney Rabbitohs are also both on track to exceed their 2012 figures in the next few days, with both clubs boasting over a 90% renewal rate. Changes to the Titans membership program to help make it more affordable, and family friendly has paid dividends with the club already signing of 6,000 members, whilst the Rabbitohs have been the first club to break the 20,000 membership barrier for 2013.

Where the Storm and Rabbitohs get off charging in excess of $100 for interstate and international Memberships I will never know!

Broncos and South Sydney have both reached 25,000. If Souths continue form they will recruit many more before seasons end.
