This is one little article that probably escaped the majority of people's attention last week. I only got wind of it because of a tiny article that was printed in last week's Queensland Country Life. It's to do with Darren Lockyer's latest contract that he signed for 3 years for an undisclosed amount, so he can be the new public face of Australia Pacific LNG. To which they've already kicked off a Campaign http://www.aplng.com.au/.

Personally, I'm a little disappointed that Lockyer has chosen to take on the role, because I'm one that's not in favour of the CSG Industry. Well, no so much the industry but the process known as Hydraulic fracturing. If they figure out a new less deterimental technique I'd probably be all for it.

Anyway, Lockyer is his own man and he'll make his own decisions, and in this instance it's a pity that he has chosen this route. It's very unfortunate that a group like Landcare Australia didn't get a look in, considering Lockyer's upbringing (Rural).

Oh well.. that's my little whinge of the day, out of the way.
