I'm sorry but seeing Michaels name in their really pisses me off. The Broncos gave young Jordan Kahu a crack last night and he held his own fine. I don't see why Carty continues to give Michaels the spot.

Can someone please explain why Don, who obviously impressed in the trials to the extent that he started in them all, has been overlooked for Michaels?

There was the opportunity for Mead to go to fullback, Zillman to left centre and Don to wing. OR Gordon to come in to centre and Don to wing. These were the options that were experimented with and appeared to be successful in the trials.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but it's one of the things that frustrates me the most.

Hymel needs to be in the future plans of the club. I hadn't seen much of him, and then I saw his game vs Manly last weekend. Absolutely dominated.

Mansour is an animal. Mead will appreciate having Idris there to handle him because Mansour makes a lot of tackle busts. Not saying Mead doesnt have strong defence, but we all know what Mansour can do.

Not really the right thread but I think (hope) 2014 will be the year of blooding youngsters. There is a group of them coming through the ranks who will all be pushing for first grade debuts. Players I have in mind are Hymel Hunt, Sam Irwin, Matt Russell and Marmin Barba. Let's hope we give them a chance and don't lose them.
