Sounds good. Not good with meeting new people to be honest. Bit of a shy guy as Diehard would know. Can't play golf but it's local and I'm guessing clubs can be hired.

Yeah we could do that, could do 4 man teams of you like, drawn from a hat. Depends on numbers.

For those that do not know what "Ambrose" is. Each team has 4 players, but you play the best balls lie, so all Tee off, and you all play your second shot from where the best drive landed.

It's a great fun format, score as a team, so if your playing badly, it's ok.

Guys.. I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble here. But you might want to review the Date and/or Venue. As Mid-January is traditionally a wet time of year, for the Coast. And if I recall correctly, Parkwood has resembled a river before when it goes under.

Just something I thought might be worth mentioning, before everything gets locked in 'n organised.

Parkwood is pretty good now. The 2nd and 3rd are gone. New holes at 10 and 13, and drainage is a lot better, spent millions on it.

I am not locked into anything yet btw, so if others have concerns voice it now.

I'm in your boat too. My dad used to play golf so I can scrounge. Might be old clubs though. Good question about clubs if you don't have any. Options?
